Community 9/11 Day of Service

Hygiene Kits for Jordan School District

As a Maples Stake and under the direction of the West Jordan Co-ordinating Council, we have the opportunity to participate in the 9/11 Day of Service Activity for 2024. The project that was assigned to us is to assemble Hygiene Kits for the Jordan School District. The school district goes through approximately 300 kits per month. We have set a goal to assemble 800 kits by September. As we all know, things like this take time to come together so we encourage you to start donating now.

We will be assembling three different kinds of kits:

Please take a moment now to check out the Amazon Wishlist of items needed and donate what you are able. The list will show how many of each item are still needed. When checking out, the address list will pop and try to send to your address by default. For your ease and convenience we have provided Sister Wheeler's shipping address so you can send it directly there. Simply scroll down and find her name. You should see the words Gift Registry Address in bold. If you would like to ship to your own home you may do so and give your items to anyone in the Stake Relief Society Presidency: Kathy Wheeler, Melanie Hanson, Camie Sheppard or Alyssa Whitney.

We would like to emphasize that this is a community event rather than a Stake one. Please involve your neighbors and help them be aware of this great opportunity to have a direct impact on the lives of those right in our community.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact a member of the Stake Relief Society Presidency.
